Summary

Founded in 2006, the Lynchburg Homeschool Athletic Association (LHSAA) provides homeschoolers and online students the same athletic opportunities available to students in a traditional school setting. LHSAA is dedicated to Christian homeschool athletes in the greater Lynchburg area. Since its inception, the Patriots have grown from a handful of teams into a full competitive sports program with more than 120 athletes, in sports including volleyball, soccer and boys and girls basketball. The leaders of LHSAA strive to help athletes develop character, discipline, teamwork, and skills consistent with a quality Christian sports program. It is our belief that excellence in athletics is not based solely on the outcome of competition, but in building character in every participant.
